Europcar Mexico is making strides to enhance its role in the business travel sector with the introduction of an upgraded Corporate Solutions suite. This revamped platform aims to streamline logistics for companies and travel agencies by integrating advanced technologies and offering clear financial management. Under the leadership of CEO Antonio Luis Llinas, the company is transitioning from a traditional vehicle supplier to a strategic partner in mobility. “Our goal is to remove the operational barriers that corporations face,” Llinas Oñate explained. “We provide not just a vehicle key, but a data infrastructure that enables companies to save both time and resources.”
The new corporate service offering is built on four key pillars designed to support B2B management and travel agencies. Flexible B2B contracts allow for tailored agreements that adjust to rental volumes, ensuring preferential rates and vehicle availability even during peak periods. A centralized billing system automates tax reconciliation, simplifying the process for accounting departments to manage payments and invoices from various business units from a single platform. Additionally, API integrations with booking systems and travel management platforms (GDS) facilitate direct connectivity, enabling travel agencies to access Europcar’s inventory in real-time with instant confirmation.
Europcar Mexico’s corporate solutions have already shown significant impact in industries like pharmaceuticals and consulting, with a reported 15% reduction in transportation operating costs within the first year of implementation. At the heart of this transformation is the use of aggregated dashboards, which provide corporate clients with real-time key metrics. These dashboards offer detailed utilization KPIs, allowing companies to analyze which vehicles are most used and where, and include monthly expenditure monitoring to compare actual spending against projected budgets.
Another crucial feature of the new suite is its focus on sustainability, offering specific reports on carbon emissions to help companies achieve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. “Precision is essential in corporate mobility. These dashboards empower travel managers to make decisions grounded in actual data rather than assumptions,” CEO Llinas Oñate emphasized.
